31. 03. 09:
The day that I finally decided to make a blog. The reason why I was reluctant to make a blog at first, although it looks exciting having your own page, like an online diary, is that when I viewed a few of the blogger's page from my brother's links( and my friends' too) from his blog, I am amaze to see the many types of designs presented in their blogs in their own way and I noticed, many bloggers really can express themselves in a fantastic and humorous way, without any bombastic words plus, there were many pictures in there too. When I see the effort on making a blog, espiecially a shy and quiet girl like me, who isn't photogenic at all, where all my pictures USUALLY come out with my hair sticking out, or my spectacles falling out of place, and my English is averagely good plus, I am not a computer expert- I don't even know how to use Microsoft Word properly, other than just typing on it, which is the only thing that I'm pretty sure that I know of, and that everytime I have Geo projects, I would specially draw the graph or pie charts just because I don't know where the control panel for it, that I decided to step out of the world of technology and be in the middle ages: by taking out a fancy notebook and colourpens and voila! I've got my own private 'blog' and always making sure that I didn't make a ghastly mistake by placing my diary in a place other than my cupboard, hidden from anyone that may read my diary, a book filled with my secrets: bad or good.

I first got the idea of making a diary was when I was in standard 6, and at that time, it was after the UPSR examination, where I had a terrible fight with a friend of mine and how lonely and terrible I had felt that I had no one to turn to when I couldn't take it anymore, I eventually decided to express all my feelings that I have kept bottled up inside me in an empty exercise book. And I actually felt better, eventhough I chose to confide in a book over a living being.

Since then, I continued writing down everything that had happened in a day and what I feel about it. I felt that I had cultivated a pretty useful routine. I still keep my diaries from the first diary I created up till now and I would sometimes open up and read all my past events, which I will have a good laugh at those crazy things I had done and would cry at sad events that took place long time ago.

I think that everyone should have a diary, or a blog because when you're a 70 year old grand ma or grandpa, you can actually see, many events actually took place in life , like your first time having this feeling where your heart beats faster whenever that someone passes you or smiled at you, your heartbreaks, happiness or memorable events, like getting 5A's for UPSR (ha ha!), or even tiny things like the day you got a second piercing , and whenever you're feeling dejected, all you have to do is open up your diary and take a trip down to memory lane, where all the good stuff that actually happened to you and realized that, life is actually not as bad and can be actually sweet.

Don't forget too, that life is like a roller coaster. Sometimes, you feel like you're on top of the world and other times, when you feel you're lower than the ground. So, use those great moments you had, like your past success that will inspire you and lift you up again and learn from those bad moments, where you had made past mistakes to avoid making the same mistake.

So, now, I think that it's time for me to step out of my stone age zone and explore the technology world- by creating a diary that uses the keyboard instead of a good old pen. I think that I should start by familiarizing myself in this modern world that has machine operated written all over it. Anyway, in this ever changing world, who ever heard of people actually present a hand- written 30 page assignment?

Amidst all the changes that we face in our daily life, remember, Fly Fm's quote: Live Life to The Max. Enjoy life while you can, you'll never know when's the last time you'll get to enjoy it.

Cheers!
